The floor structure is built on a Heavy steel sub frame, and the walls are constructed with greater structural integrity and more bracing than a traditionally built home. Generally speaking, a transportable home will stand the test of time far better than a site built home. The timeframe to construct a transportable home is faster. As the home is built in factory conditions there is little down time due to adverse weather conditions. It is more likely that a transportable home will be built to a required time, saving the client inconvenience & rent money. Convenience & simplicity is also a big factor. Once the home is transported to your site, council makes it’s inspections, a plumber & electrician make their connections to the mains & you are ready to move in. Kitchen, bathroom, even floor coverings are fitted before the home is transported to your site. As there is less disturbance of your home site, the transportable home has a smaller footprint.
